"New Awakening" is inspired by a life-changing experience. In the summer of 2016 I survived a serious heart attack and came through with a clearer understanding of what life means to me. This show features an eighteen piece series of mixed media floral mosaics focusing on positive images that inspire joy.

Inspired by research for my book entitled Good Luck Charms and Protective Amulets: Their Meanings and Origins, the exhibit "Shrines" is an eighteen piece body of work focusing on icons, idols, symbols, and mundane objects that have been bestowed with meaning throughout history due to the different cultures surrounding them.

“Inclusion” is not a traditional visual art show. It is a tactile exhibit meant for all of us. It attempts to integrate artistic stimulants that accommodate and appeal to both aural/visual communicators and visual/bodily-kinesthetic communicators while encompassing subject matter that relates to the human condition as a whole. The intention of this exhibit is to communicate through art with as many people as possible, including those who would normally not attend an art show. Touching is encouraged. These are four pieces from a series of fifteen.
